We're seriously practicing for a special in church---probably not the screaming version though!!
Brent, Carissa, Emma, Andrew, Eden, and Chloe are excited to keep you updated with their busy lives.

Eden jumped on the "big potty" after her 1st successful attempt to "go"....she couldn't get enough of the BIG GIRL STUFF!! Look at that proud smile!

Thank you Mama and Pops for the presents you sent with Donna and Eduardo. We all had such a great time, but wish you could've been here too! The kids are enjoying all their presents as you can see. You'll notice that Andrew doesn't have his silly string shooter....it's put away til we come to your house :) It has already been in Emma's hair, on the curtains, carpet, ceiling, wall.... We'll be in PA soon! We love you.
The "missing" web-shooter!!
Emma this morning before she got on the bus. She was excited to wear her new red sweater!
Uncle Eduardo with Andrew. Ed actually made the turkey for our thanksgiving dinner. What a great cook and nice uncle :) Come again soon Donna and Ed. We sure do love having you around!
Eden and Chloe as they got their hair done for the dayYesterday morning I decided to start reading Song of Songs again. As I read, there were 3 main facts that drew my heart closer to my husband. The first is the verse that says, "Winter is gone, the rain is come..." Sometimes I feel that the busyness of everyday duties can be compared to "winter" time in our marriage. I asked God to refresh my focus.
We praise God for the wonderful influences He has given us for our kids. Ben is here as a Grad student. We know him from our WV youth group. He has a gift with kids and our kids look forward to him coming over. Bryan is Brent's cousin and a tremendous help and encouragement with the kiddos. They call him "By By".
Sarah Evans is a sweet friend who is a Sr. this year at Northland. She teaches Andrew's S.S. class and watches the kids sometimes. She came over this Sunday to build snowmen with the kids. She is truly a blessing. I really enjoy motherhood, but times I just want some help inside my home. I feel that I don't juggle things as well as I should and neglect things I shouldn't...therefore, I praise God for the helpful people He brings along the way as I try to train my children the best I can.
Thanks to Alicia "Mendez" Horn, I am aware of the wrong website to my girl's pics :) I guess I led you all to a "swearing" one! oops. Anyway, it's: markhawkinsphoto.blogspot.com or pictage.com
If you are interested (esp. Mama and Pops Belford) you can go to markhawkins.blogspot.com or to pictage.com for more pictures of Trent Herron and Erin Gross's wedding.
Eden and Chloe, 19 mo., were in their first wedding on Saturday. They did awesom!! This was in rehearsal and Eden was leading the way. In the wedding they stopped at the last pew looked around for the cameras to get a "good shot"--they must take after their mother?? :) Brent's been gone this whole week to Ankeny, Iowa. The kids are missing him soo much and so am I. We miss our laptop too, so we're at mom and dad's using their computer to update you all.
