Happy 2nd Birthday Chloe and Eden!

I can't believe it's been 2 years ago since God suprised us with our precious twin girls! He is so good. Eden Faith was born at 11:00am, 2 min. later the doctor said, "There's another one in there!" Brent looked like he was a deer in the headlights...I cried since I thought "I can't do this again." The doctor told me I had to, so 10 minutes later, we meant "twin B". 2 hours later, Chloe Joy received a name!!!
Thank you God for my precious girls. May they come to know you as their personal Savior and grow up to influence others for your sake.

How creative :) This is the extent of my cake-skills :)

Ben, Bryan, Stephanie, Joel, and Ashley came to their party.

Of course, Nanny and Papa were there and brought doll diaper bags. This will keep the girls occupied all day!!

This is their "shrine"....Maybe it was cuter in person :)

ready for our b-day party

The girls got all cleaned up before their party :)

Biblical Womanhood

I was listening to Revive our Hearts today on the radio. I heard that if you've never been to their website before, you can receive a free book entitled Biblical Womanhood, by Nancy Leigh DeMoss. Click reviveourhearts.org and go to their free book. Hope you all had a great weekend. We went to see Caleb, Sheena, and Jackson in Waukesha, and then Brent preached both services in Sheboygan yesterday. We had a great time with our family!!

Resurrection Eggs

If you are interested in purchasing the Resurrection Eggs, which tell of all the events leading up to the cross and resurrection, go to family life for Resurrection Eggs. For a donation, they will send you a set of 12 plastic eggs that come in an egg carton filled with certain items for each day. They will also send an inner-city kid a set for himself. I was going to pick them up at Walmart, but decided this would be a greater investment.

The Smoothie Gang

The 3 gangsters sit still (for only a few minutes) to drink their smoothies. I put frozen berries and bananas and yogurt in the blender. The seeds got stuck in the sippy cups...I wouldn't recommend using those for sippy-cups.

MMMMMM.....

Emma and Drew helping with the dishes :) Oh for the day that that job becomes THEIRS!

Me, Robin Wood, and Tami Bennett at a Mexican restaurant to celebrate Diane Doolittle's 40th b-day! What a great time we had and a nice time of prayer for her the next day. Only God's grace sustains Diane as she lost her husband to cancer 2 mo. ago

Me and Sarah Ice ready to go to a Halloween party----or just being dumb at TJ Maxx

GO...BANANAS!

Well, my friend, Bonnie Ruth, told me about the "banana diet".....totally a fad diet. But honestly, if you lose 5 lbs in 5 days, then I say, let's do it!! So, you eat 6 bananas and 3 cups of milk each day for 5 days. I opted for my own version: 4 bananas and 2 cups of milk and a normal supper with my family. I've lost 5 lbs in 4 days :) yippee. I always need something like this to shrink my appetite and practice discipline once again. I think next week I'll have fruit for breakfast and a small lunch and a normal supper. I'm on my way to losing some more baby-weight for this summer. Speaking of summer, I don't know if it will ever come. We are in another blizzard and are supposed to get 18 more inches of snow.....I think I will GO BANANAS!..(that was so clever to tie in the 2 topics like that!?!?!)
