fun at the parks with friends

Chloe helping Eden go faster on the Kangaroo :)

We've been hanging out at different parks with the Fipps girls! Maggie, Madeline, and Aunt Trisha have been so fun to get together with. Soon, we'll have 7 kids to watch when we get together. Yikes!

Emma's new trick at the playground

the belford kids washing my floor :) I think this will become a normal routine in our house! It worked pretty well.

Me and Trisha at the Cheesecake factory last weekend! soo fun
to be together without the kids :)

Dad and Emma's graduations

Emma graduated from K5 on May 12. I was so proud of her and got teary as they said, "Emma Grace Belford" (suma cum laud....actually they forgot that part.) for her diploma :)

Here's my handsome husband laughing as I yelled his name for the photo in the procession of the graduation at Northland. I actually think I embarrass him sometimes :)

Here is my dad and Emma celebrating their graduation together!
you all know that my dad and mom and Ashley moved here a year ago for dad to get his Batchelor's degree. I'm so proud of him, at age 49, coming back to school. Way to go, Dad!!

Emma and mommy! I was so proud of her as she said her lines for her program..And of course, I got teary as they said, "Emma Grace Belford" (suma cum laud)....that part they left out! for her diploma.

my friend Virginia

This is Virginia Estes, a freshman here at NBBC. We met this semester at her society activity. She's been such a blessing as she's come over to help me with the kids and talk!!
She was even willing to wash the girl's feet in the tub one day :) I'll miss her this summer, but am glad she's coming back next year.

The twins watching me put my ankle in an ice-bath to get the swelling down. They were hard to keep up with last week, but God helped us through it!!

sprained ankle

This wkd. we had our "alumni tournament" at Northland. Only 3 of the former team showed up, but we WERE having a really great time.....until I sprained my ankle. I went to hit the ball at the 10 ft. line and my cousin Amber came right under me. She thought I was delirious when I fell to the ground repeating, "I'm alone this week with the kids...this can't happen." That's always been my worst fear when I've played since I have 4 dependent children to take care of!!
Brent is leaving for another trip this week to Iowa and will be back on Saturday.
I really desire God to work in me through this small trial. I also desire that I learn all I can through this time of great dependence (esp on my 4 and 6 yr. olds to help me chase the 2 yr olds!!).
Please pray that I can walk (or limp) on my foot soon enough to help my kids with their meals, bathroom visits, and lives this week...............
Sometimes I think God just wants to show me that sitting with the kids is more important that running all over the house trying to keep up. He is good.

my girls

After I spoke at Springfest this Saturday, I took Emma to the booth to have her face painted. She loved her butterfly and her flower. She didn't want to part with either of them during her Sat. night bath :)

Mama Belford sent the kids a HUGE box full of new clothes. They had so much fun trying them on...cute hats to match summer outfits too. Thanks Mama!!!
