the new "belford-mobile"

We praise God for this new van. We got a used 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with 29,000 miles a week ago. We wanted a bench seat behind the driver's seat, 2 built-in car seats, and stow-away seating. This was the only van with all 3 things in it AND the best priced! Praise you Lord that you're all-knowing. He is good.

finally pictures of the cutest belford kids

Emma, Chloe, Eden, and Drew
Chloe and Emma ready for bed (Chloe usually steals Emma's blankey)
Chloe and Eden in their "Sunday Best". How cute are these $5 jackets from good ole Wal-mart!!
Andrew's got 2 little witnesses of this "play murder". Emma was a great actress....she usually is!!
Andrew and his friend Maggie reading a book with a tape. How adorable are they!
Chloe poses for a picture as I'm folding laundry....she loves underwear on her head!! Who does she take after?

WORLD SERIES

Tonight as I was getting ready for the "Artist Series" here at Northland, Emma says, "I want to go to the WORLD SERIES with you and daddy." It took me a little while to understand that was what she thought the ARTIST SERIES was :) sooo cute.

I'm Baaaack!!

After about a month w/o wireless connection at home, I think it's getting fixed tomorrow. I'm still in the parking lot at the F.C. :) For those of you Northland people out there, you can picture the students walking by and the many LOOKS of trying to figure out what "Mr. Belford's wife" is doing in a dark parking lot with a computer :) I've tried to upload the pics and it's not working for me tonight. Too bad! I'll update you with MANY pictures from the last 2 weeks to update all of you. I'll post a pic of our new red van for Pops soon! love to all....goodnight.

another week without wireless connection

I think this is good for me in the long run :) I am only able to check my email and blog once a week now (or whenever I sneak to the Founders Center Parking Lot during naptime!)...Northland's technology men came to "fix" a phone problem and the end result has been loss of internet access for 3 wks now. Hopefully the part they ordered will be here quickly. In the last week, Brent's taken me to a hotel for the wkd. We shopped for a new van too. I painted a wall in our dining room RED! And as always, THE TWINS WERE IN THE DIRT AGAIN! Eden loves clothes almost as much as Emma does. And Chloe is a goof! Emma's been off of school for the last 2 days and she's been teaching Andrew his letters and Bible stories she's learned. This last Wednesday the Lord used Pastor's message to break me of self-centered living. I have been striving so hard for "control" (a neat home, obedient children...) rather than teaching my children "order" because it pleases God. The Lord is so good and gracious to pursue me and draw me back to a right focus on Him and His Word. I want to abide, bear fruit, and rejoice in His work! Hope you all enjoy your weekend...solo deo gloria!! All for His glory!!

If you all could comment or email her at hcummings23@yahoo.com :) I'll post the rest of her pics in a couple minutes. My computer's acting REAL slow!!! I LOVE YOU HEATHER!!!!!!! and her 3 precious girls, Ellie, Sylvia, and Margaret....and Jonas too.

Weekend Happenings

Well, last weekend we travelled down to Waukesha to see my bro and his wife and new baby, Jackson. What a cute boy.
Emma lost her 1st tooth today and if the toothfairy remembers, she will come tonight :) AND, I told Emma if she went right to sleep, the teeny, tiny toothfairy would appear. She said she'd sleep with her mouth WIDE open so the toothfairy knew which kid lost a tooth :)
My mom works at the info desk here and Andrew climbed up on the seat and started drawing. He loves his Nanny!!
Brent was gone for the day on Saturday and I was working on a dresser in the garage. When I came downstairs to see why the kids were being so "good", I found the wall drawn on every crack and block! I made the kids scrub it for a 1/2 hr with mr clean erasers. They eventually got most of it off!!
Putting the twins to bed is sometimes hard work....until I found them in my bed all snuggled up and ready to sleep Sat. night. I was checking on the progress of Emma and Andrew in the basement and came back up to find these sweet girls in my bed!
God gave us a beautiful dresser recently. I repainted it and my dad (and the kids) helped put all the new hardware on it! This was Sat. too!!! Busy day.
The Belford "Whos"!!! Bathtime has become quite humorous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
