another week without wireless connection

I think this is good for me in the long run :) I am only able to check my email and blog once a week now (or whenever I sneak to the Founders Center Parking Lot during naptime!)...Northland's technology men came to "fix" a phone problem and the end result has been loss of internet access for 3 wks now. Hopefully the part they ordered will be here quickly. In the last week, Brent's taken me to a hotel for the wkd. We shopped for a new van too. I painted a wall in our dining room RED! And as always, THE TWINS WERE IN THE DIRT AGAIN! Eden loves clothes almost as much as Emma does. And Chloe is a goof! Emma's been off of school for the last 2 days and she's been teaching Andrew his letters and Bible stories she's learned. This last Wednesday the Lord used Pastor's message to break me of self-centered living. I have been striving so hard for "control" (a neat home, obedient children...) rather than teaching my children "order" because it pleases God. The Lord is so good and gracious to pursue me and draw me back to a right focus on Him and His Word. I want to abide, bear fruit, and rejoice in His work! Hope you all enjoy your weekend...solo deo gloria!! All for His glory!!

I love the red wall! I remember trying to get them to let us paint the apartment and they would only let us do 2-3 shades in on the color swatches - which equaled to so light it still looks like white. Way to go!

Going Red...I love it! I bet it is nice and cozy as you prepare and eat your food. Ha, I know what that is like with kids. The weekend away, I bet it was much needed. We got a night away last weekend too. Yeah, rest and relaxation. Reintroductions as well, "Hi, I'm your wife, remember me...we have children together..." Gotta love it all! Only a month 1/2 to go until shopping!!!!!!

your twins are so cute all full of mud. how fun! you have such a nice back yard for your kids to play in. good job on the red wall. BELIEVE me, red is a tough color to find the right color...but thankfully wal-mart lets your return paint.

So this is what I have to look forward to, huh? I was just having the same thoughts about a neat house now that I'm officially a pastor's wife. But then I thought I have three children 3 and under. That's a good excuse! :) Love the red wall. When should we get together for a play-date?

I second everyone's comments on the beautiful brave red wall. Looks tres chic. When ARE you coming over to redecorate my house?!? Bummer that you lost your internet connection. Any idea when you'll get it back?

I hear ya. It's sooooo easy to hold on to stupid little things and get crazy about them. I'm finding that being a mom is all about teaching me true patience and selflessness.
