Steadfast Love
I was reading today about the STEADFAST LOVE of the Lord. Lam. 3:22-23 says, "The STEADFAST LOVE of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness." Joel 2:13b, "The Lord....is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in STEADFAST LOVE." Psalm 62:12, "To you , O Lord, belongs STEADFAST LOVE." As I was writing my Valentine card to my STEADY husband this morning, I thought how much he shows me God's Steadfast Love. Today, I am thankful for my wonderful Lord, my amazing husband, and loving children. My desire is to show God's Steadfast Love to those around me. Happy Valentines Day!!!!!!

I just read Psalm 136 two nights ago (the Psalm that keeps repeating "His steadfast love endures forever" every other line)! I was struck by how God just pounds that over and over again in Ps. 136 and how much I need that pounding reminder. It's so easy for me to forget to look for God's love behind everything He does for me and in all of His provision (including the family He's blessed me with).

Thanks for the reminder of God's love. I love how He shows it in so many different ways... and through the many aspects of His character. God showed His love toward us in a very real way again yesterday in His provision for us. What a blessing to serve the Living God of LOVE!
